Romane and Courtney: Lieu de Grace

One of my very early weddings as wedding stylist and event coordinator for Belle Doux Events was for the beautiful Romane and her husband Courtney, hosted at the exquisite Lieu de Grâce.

To this day, it remains one of my most cherished and memorable weddings, and anyone familiar with the Belle Doux brand will immediately understand why. From our very first consultation, I knew this wedding would be something special. Romane’s vision aligned perfectly with my personal style and the Belle Doux aesthetic: soft, romantic, elegant, and timeless. Her love for pastel tones, delicate textures, and lush florals, especially hydrangeas - my absolute favourite flower - made this collaboration feel like a match made in heaven.

Rose Gold Accents with Soft Pastels: A Timeless Wedding Style

This wedding is a beautiful example of how rose gold wedding décor can be used as an accent rather than a dominant feature. Paired with soft pastel hues, blush pinks, and creamy neutrals, the rose gold elements added warmth and subtle glamour without overpowering the overall look.

The result was a décor style that felt classic and elegant, romantic and airy, soft yet visually impactful.

For me, the florals were what truly brought the entire design together. The table arrangements were intentionally lush and abundant, featuring soft roses and pastel hydrangeas styled to feel generous and indulgent; just the right amount of “over-the-top” without crossing into excess.

These floral installations created a sense of movement, softness, and romance throughout the reception space, elevating the tables while allowing the venue’s natural beauty to shine through.
